Experienced Senior Living Advisors Working for You

Free Senior Living Advising

Choosing Sage Senior Care Advisors gives you a personalized, comprehensive support system. It begins with an initial phone consultation where we thoroughly learn about your loved one's care needs, budget, location preference, and timeframe, ensuring we fully grasp their unique situation. Our attention to their physical, medical, cognitive, financial, social, emotional, and spiritual aspects, coupled with understanding of what brings you peace of mind, enables us to create a tailored placement plan.

This plan then shapes our exploration of senior living options. We work closely with you to identify the most suitable communities for your loved one, scheduling and accompanying you on tours to evaluate each one. This process allows us to act as your trusted partner, ensuring your loved one finds a caring environment that truly meets their unique situation and needs.

Our support doesn't end with placement. We help ensure the transition into the new community goes smoothly, providing valuable insights to ease this potentially difficult time. From supporting the admission process to assisting with crucial conversations with staff, we stand by you. Our commitment continues with follow-up checks and ongoing support, providing additional services and resources as needed. With Sage, you're not just choosing a service; you're gaining a partner who stays by your side at every step of the journey.

In-Home Consultation

Sometimes the goal for our loved one is to be able to support them in their home environment for as long as possible. There are many factors to consider when making a plan such as safety, transportation, medication management, food preparation and nutrition, shopping, medical oversight, and handling emergencies just to name a few.

Sage Senior Care Advisors provides in-home consultation services to help evaluate and identify the support services needed to help seniors to be successful in their own home for as long as possible. We charge a reasonable, hourly fee for these services and ongoing support. Reach out to us to learn more!

Our Senior Living Advising Service Provides You With:

Understanding

Our desire is to first fully understand your loved one’s particular situation and exactly what is happening with them physically, medically, and cognitively. We know what questions to ask you to get a full picture of their condition. Having a strong understanding of their care needs and what is important to them (and you) will lead to finding the best available senior living community or in-home support services.

Guidance

Based on the information you give us about your loved one along with our experience in the senior care industry, we will guide you through all possible options for care and support. We will set up tours of senior living communities or meetings with in-home service providers and help you to evaluate each option. Following your lead, we will assist you as much or as little in exploring each community or service and asking intelligent questions.

Peace of Mind

More than anything, we can offer you a sense of confidence and peace of mind by partnering with experienced senior living professionals. We know the “ins and outs” of how senior living communities are run and how care is delivered, both at home and in a community. We also know the “behind-the-scenes” issues and what to look for when touring and talking with service providers. Our goal is to help you feel completely confident in making the right decision.

Additional Services and Resources

Local Family Support Groups

Everyone needs people to relate to and to be heard. The goal of a caregiver support group is for members to leave with a new opportunity for understanding and new connections with others in a similar situation.

Caregiver support groups typically meet monthly and are open to all family caregivers, even if still living in a home setting.

Sage Senior Care Advisors have several resources for active support groups in the Kansas City area.

Elder Care Consulting Services

As seniors age, it is not uncommon for them to need additional assistance and support to remain as independent as possible.

Whether a person has physical care needs, is a fall risk, is beginning to show early signs of dementia, or just needs someone to help them grocery shop, many seniors can remain safely in their home with support for a longer period of time.
